A Joyous Holiday Season

We have truly had a joyful Christmas season. Haley has been with us for two weeks, which has been the highlight of our month. We have celebrated the birth of the Savior with family, friends, and with fun and games. It was a beautiful end to a wonderful year.

Here are some highlights from our month:

  • Wagon Ride at the Highlands Ranch Christmas Festival. It was 6 degrees. Needless to say, we did not stay long. 12/4/09

  • Whitley Ladies Christmas Luncheon 12/5/09

  • Early Christmas dinner and Nativity pageant because my sister, Mindy, and her three sons were in town. I got the kids matching pajamas and we listened to Uncle Matt read his new Skippy Jon Jones book. 12/6/09

(Mindy - Joseph, Colton - Baby Jesus, Cody - Shepherd, Lexi - Mary, Mason - Donkey, Levi - Wiseman, Corbin - Angel, Matt - Narrator)

  • Holiday Concert at the Elementary School 12/15/09

Lexi sang "Tingle Lingle."

Levi joined in a rousing rendition of "Jingle Bells."

  • Graham Cracker Houses (with left-over Halloween Candy) 12/21/09

  • A cold night at the Hudson Holiday light display. We went there instead of Zoo Lights this year...I think we'll go back to the zoo next year. 12/21/09

  • Girl's Day Out with Grandma Jill. I LOVED "Little House on the Prairie, The Musical"! 12/23/09
  • Christmas pajamas from Mommy. 12/23/09

  • Sleeping under the Christmas Tree (a tradition from my childhood), with the lights turned to a dull glow for a soft night light. 12/23/09

  • A Magical Christmas Eve with the Lips Family - oops...in the chaos of hosting 28 people at our house, I didn't take a single picture....waiting to see what my sister-in-law, Sharon, took.

  • The Excitement of Christmas Morning and a visit from Santa Claus 12/25/09

  • Sledding 12/28/09

  • Bowling 12/30/09
