Levi's Preschool Graduation

Levi has had 3 years of preschool, and they have finally come to a close. His graduation ceremony was darling. It started with a processional, complete with "Pomp and Circumstance."

The kids did their alphabet in sign language (well, most of the kids did...Levi told me before that he only knew "A, B, and C" so he wasn't going to do it...and he didn't. He just stood there and smiled. He truly has a mind of his own!).

Then they sang a couple of songs. The ceremony finished with each child receiving a diploma and hugs from the teachers.

His teachers have been wonderful this year - I honestly cannot say enough good things about them. As you can tell from these two drawings, one from the beginning of the year, and the second from recently, that he at least learned that his arms do not come out of his head and that his eyes are below his nose. True progress. I'm so proud!

His teacher, Megan Jensen, in particular, has been such a gift to our family. Lexi had her for a year and a half, and we have grown to love and appreciate all she is and does. We will miss seeing her everyday. Fortunately, she is just down the hall from Levi's kindergarten room, and she has insisted on regular visits. Thanks Ms. Jensen!
