Layna and Matt invited us to join their team in the Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis walk on Saturday. Layna has two siblings with CF, so we were walking for a cause.
Team Katie and KirkWe thought we were going to be doing a one mile walk, but turns out it was a 5k. I was so proud of Lexi and Levi, hardly a complaint from either one of them, and they're already making plans for our next 5k.

nice work on the 5K - my kids might have been able to do it, but definitely not without complaining. :) so kudos!
and i love the picture of levi reading his book and his uninterested classmate. :)
and the birthday party is fabulous. mindy is brilliant with her b-day party ideas - i'll definitely check in with her next time. :)
Looks like you guys had fun! Wish we could have been there to support too. Way to go for getting you kids involved, and I'm glad they liked it!
