Lexi used to tell me all the time that she is going to have a cooking show when she grows up. It will be something of a combination between Emeril Live, 30 Minutes Meals with Rachel Ray, and Paula's Party. For Christmas, my brother Mark gave her a cookbook for kids. Her was her first creation...ham and cheese rollups.
The next weekend she took the cookbook over to Grandma Jill and Grandpa Dave's house where my brother Mason was going to babysit the kids. Together they made a pasta dish with peas and mushrooms and alfredo sauce. They even made smores in the microwave (instead of the oven like the recipe said). This morning she made fruit kabobs for breakfast... Next I am going to have her make lasagna. And then she will have the chore of making dinner everynight! Ok, maybe not for a while, but it is fun that she loves cooking like I do!

you are so lucky that you have a little chef in the house! i hope her dream comes true so you can eat like a queen for the rest of your life!
Now I really have to have her come visit so she can cook for me!
