Yeah! Mindy's home!!!!! We spent the morning talking to Mindy about her trip, looking at pictures, and getting all sorts of cool presents. Mindy always finds the best souvenirs during her trips. The kids all got maraccas made out of small coconuts. Levi got a banana leaf soccer ball, which is what the kids in small villages use to play soccer. Lexi and Haley each got two bracelets and a necklace with beads made out of paper. The women make them and then sell them in the markets. Mindy's trip was awesome! If you are interested in her firsthand account of rapelling off a 300 ft waterfall, or holding beautiful babies, or giving eye exams and more, check out her blog at

Next time I want to go, too!!!!
Knowing Mason was ready for a break from the kids (he came a week earlier with my parents), Russ took him and Haley fishing and Payson Lakes. They caught 33 fish!!! Unfortunately they could only bring 7 home, but we enjoyed a yummy dinner anyway. Russ taught Mason how to clean the fish, but I don't think Haley was too interested in that part of the adventure...

After fishing, they stopped in the canyon and explored some caves and a beautiful meadow.

In the meantime, the other kids played and played. It's so fun to be with our cousins!

I hope you do come with me next time! Or maybe after nursing school you could go and get some real experience . . .
Experience? What, like taking care of boda bike burns?
