75 Days of Summer Fun #12 - Brownie Backyard Campout

I had my Brownie troop (and Levi) over for a backyard campout. We ate, slept, washed hands, and played outside. The girls were only allowed to come inside to use the bathroom or get things from the "cooler" (aka fridge). This was our first troop overnight and we were excited to test some of the skills we have acquired this year and learn some new things too.

Making nametags with "for-emergency-only" whistles

Setting up the first of three tents

Singing songs, playing charades, and roasting marshmallows around the campfire
Cooking breakfast - sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs & fruit kabobs
(we also made dinner - pizza on the grill)

We had about one hour after we packed up camp before parents started to arrive so we went on a hike...down the street to the park. Here are our two little brother tagalongs (Levi and Joshua) and our troop.

Way to go girls! You passed with flying colors! We are now looking forward to two more campouts this year!
